Job Description Summary
Responsible for implementing, operating and supporting multi-tenant, scalable network solutions. This role will routinely review, analyze and recommend network improvements to ensure that the Network can scale with the needs of the applications and services riding on it.

Job Description

Roles and ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:

• Gather & review the end customer network requirement for connecting the various control, SCADA, utility systems
• Plan and execute the approved network design in a specific change window.
• Monitor and optimize network performance and assure network security in a high availability environment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and other network and system problems in a prompt and timely manner.
• Recommend upgrades and replacement cycles to insure high availability of the network infrastructure including developing and implementing a scheduled maintenance plan.
• Write technical design and maintain build documentation for the network infrastructure.
• Enforce and execute user policies and procedures regarding the use of network resources.
• Use Wire Shark to perform packet capture and analysis for troubleshooting network and system issues.

Education Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with advanced experience.
• 5-8 Yrs for experience is required.
• Strong background with network technologies including configuring, managing and monitoring, troubleshooting routing protocols, subnetting, and access controls and traffic shaping.

Desired Characteristics

Technical Expertise:

• Physical routers - Cisco & Juniper routers and switches
• Routing: BGP, OSPF, with hands-on experience managing Enterprise WAN
• VPN- IPsec Tunnel, OpenVP, MPLS VPN
• Firewall- Palo Alto & Fortigate Firewalls
• Infoblox- DNS & IPAM solutions
• Desired: CCNP/JNCIP-ENT with hands on knowledge
• Preferred: CCNP-Security/JNCIP-Security
• Experience managing server environments, working knowledge of Server hardware, software and operating Systems, platform configuration, VMware, Directory Service Technologies, OT cybersecurity, and systems management tools is a plus.

• Previous experience of having worked with Agile methodologies
