Job Description
Bloom is currently seeking a Construction Intern to join our Minneapolis area team. We are looking for a highly motivated, technically capable intern who can develop relationships and continue to grow our company. Candidates will gain a comprehensive understanding of site-specific activities required for successful project completion and experience in all areas of managing a construction site. JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS
- Support field staff with on-site construction inspection
- Interacting and communicating effectively with team members, clients, and other agencies
- Ability to effectively track, report, and manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines
- Promote job site safety, encourage safe work practices
- Participating in quality control/quality assurance
- Developing client relationships
REQUIREMENTS
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management Experience with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) CADD (MicroStation preferred)
- Ability to collaborate with the design team, clients, and agencies
- Good decision-making skills, flexibility, focus on quality, and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid driver’s license is required
