Job Description
This regional firm is growing in size and needs a Transportation/Traffic Project Manager to help reach clientele in the South Bay area by working a flexible hybrid schedule out of their Campbell or Santa Cruz office with oversight and support from the Engineering Director.
Responsibilities
1. Support Campbell/Santa Cruz/Roseville civil teams, working on design elements within technical skill set, including:
- Traffic (signing/striping, roadway geometry, site layout)
- Structural (retaining walls, anchorage/restraints, etc)
- Civil (site grading/drainage, roads, parking lots)
2. Assist with public RFPs including:
- Prepare technical sections, schedules, fees
- Attend pre-bid meetings, coordinate teaming opportunities
3. Build upon existing client relationships
- Review agency CIPs
- Engage agency staff to discuss upcoming projects and opportunities
4. Mentor and train junior staff
- Work 1:1 with staff on specific topics
- Lead training sessions with small groups
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering or related field(s)
2. 8+ years of transportation/civil engineering experience
3. California PE desired (but not required)
4. Strong business acumen in project planning and management
