Job Description
We are representing a leading and rapidly growing geotechnical firm in Austin who are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced geotechnical engineer to work on their business critical projects. They are experiencing a huge increase in the environmental work being received and are dominating the market with clients consistently reaching out meaning they are never short on large scale, exciting projects.The opportunity provides the right candidate with full flexibility for an employee to take their career in any direction they wish as well as full autonomy in terms of research and up and coming technology.Position Overview:
- Conducting geotechnical site investigations, soil and rock testing, and engineering analysis.
- Designing foundations, retaining walls, and other geotechnical structures.
- Leading project teams and coordinating with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Preparing and reviewing technical reports and construction documents.
- Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with a focus on infrastructure, commercial, or residential projects.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license in Texas.
- Strong project management skills and experience leading project teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A proactive, problem-solving attitude with a commitment to safety and quality.
