Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform and/or review stability analyses, reinforced concrete design, and steel design for tunnel, underground, and earth retaining structures
  • Prepare and/or review design drawings, reports, and technical specifications
  • Perform task and project-level responsibilities and coordination duties

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
  • Relevant education and/or work experience from (0) zero and up to three (3) years in structural engineering
  • Ability to obtain professional engineering licensure after meeting experience requirements for relevant state board
  • Knowledge in the preparation of structural design, drawings, specifications, and technical memoranda
  • Able to work independently coupled with strong communication skills to interface with other consultants, clients and co-workers
    on multi-discipline projects
  • Experience with computer-aided structural analysis and finite element modeling
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Willingness to travel within US and Canada for short/longer term assignments

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to pass a background check which may include criminal history, motor vehicle record and credit check
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
