Job Responsibilities:
- Perform and/or review stability analyses, reinforced concrete design, and steel design for tunnel, underground, and earth retaining structures
- Prepare and/or review design drawings, reports, and technical specifications
- Perform task and project-level responsibilities and coordination duties
Required Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
- Relevant education and/or work experience from (0) zero and up to three (3) years in structural engineering
- Ability to obtain professional engineering licensure after meeting experience requirements for relevant state board
- Knowledge in the preparation of structural design, drawings, specifications, and technical memoranda
- Able to work independently coupled with strong communication skills to interface with other consultants, clients and co-workers
on multi-discipline projects - Experience with computer-aided structural analysis and finite element modeling
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Strong technical writing skills
- Willingness to travel within US and Canada for short/longer term assignments
Other Requirements:
- Ability to pass a background check which may include criminal history, motor vehicle record and credit check
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
