  • Work on a variety of environmental projects throughout the Region, but primarily in Illinois.
  • Support environmental site assessments, remedial and pre-design investigations, test borings, well installations, environmental sampling of various media (soil, sediment, groundwater, surface water, air), and technical oversight of subcontractors.
  • Conduct data management and analysis, prepare and review work plans and technical reports, and assist in preparation of presentations and proposals to clients and regulators.
  • Support investigation and remedial strategies for various types of sites and contaminants and collaborate in the design and installation of remediation solutions, primarily with the Illinois EPAs (IEPA) Site Remediation and LUST Programs, with respect to clients property redevelopment goals.
  • Execute project success (scopes, schedules, budgets, deliverables, client satisfaction).
  • Interact with subcontractors, clients and regulatory agency representatives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geology or similar Science.
  • 0-1 years of relevant professional experience preferably in environmental consulting.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proven and concise writing ability is a must.
  • Willingness to travel on temporary assignments as needed.
  • Experience with software such as AutoCAD or ArcGIS, is a plus.
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER training is a plus.
  • Physical ability to perform field work in summer and winter conditions.
  • Valid U.S. drivers license.
