 Primary ResponsibilitiesIn the role of Intern Engineering, we'll count on you to:

  • Apply standard Engineering techniques and procedures that typically include KYTC Planning and Design projects,
     Highway Safety Improvement Projects, and Public Works projects for various Municipalities.
  • Work under the guidance of a Project Manager to assist with design calculations, drafting technical reports, preparing
     project drawings and specifications, performing review and analysis of project sites, and water and sewer studies for
     federal, state, and local municipalities
  • Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures
  • Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs
  • Perform other duties as needed

 

Qualifications

 Required Qualifications• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program• Attention to detail a must• Must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills• Basic Microsoft Office skills• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustPreferred Qualifications• Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with a minimum of 3.0 GPA• Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industryWhy HDRAt HDR, we know work isn't only about who you work for it's also about what you do and how you do it.
