You’ll be tasked with a variety of transportation engineering responsibilities as you lead highway design projects, develop, and analyze alternative solutions, and oversee professional staff.You’ll be expected to build and maintain relationships with clients throughout Georgia and the Southeast, and you must have a clear understanding of AASHTO, state, and local design criteria.   • Represent TTL before existing and potential clients
  • Meet with clients and potential clients to pursue, win, and execute projects   
  • Negotiate and manage scopes of work, schedules, and budgets for a variety of projects   
  • Provide senior level engineering expertise
  • Review and direct the work of others
  • Document the design process and communications

Requirements:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
  • Eight to 15 years of experience in engineering services with progressive responsibilities including highway engineering, business development, and project delivery
  • Georgia PE license, or the ability to obtain one within six months
  • Expertise in Microstation, Geopak, Open Roads, and other relevant software

  • Highly engaged in professional engineering societies
  • Able to articulate ideas and concepts
  • Strong technical and proposal writing skills   
  • Effective communication skills
  • Drainage design experience
