Wright-Pierce, an award-winning, multi-discipline environmental engineering firm specializing in water, wastewater and civil infrastructure, is seeking a Field Technician-Engineering Services to join our Tampa, FL office. This position is expected to begin June 2024.Responsibilities

  • Planning, design, and construction administration for various wastewater, drinking water source, distribution, storage, treatment, stormwater, civil, and transportation projects
  • Provide support to Lead Project Engineers and other team members
  • Hydraulic design – pump and piping systems
  • Hydraulic distribution system modeling
  • Treatment design
  • Write technical reports, memos, and other communications
  • Performing field work associated with sewer system condition assessments (sewer televising/ CCTV oversight, smoke/dye testing, manhole inspections, building inspections, and flow monitoring)

Experience

  • Minimum 0-2 years of experience

Certifications

  • Engineer in Training Certification preferred
  • NASSCO’s Pipeline Assessment and Certification Program (PACP) preferred

Education

  • B.S. degree in Engineering or equivalent
