 We provide civil/land development, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, geotechnical, environmental, and municipal engineering, surveying, landscape architecture, code enforcement, plan review, construction management, construction materials testing, and grant writing services to clients in Pennsylvania and beyond. 
 We have an opportunity for a civil engineer to join our land development team in our Mechanicsburg office. Our civil engineers work on various project types, including commercial & industrial land developments; institutional land developments (i.e., schools); residential subdivisions.
Because our employees are usually involved in several projects at one time, involving numerous team members (such as project manager, engineer, and CADD technician/designer), exceptional communications skills and the ability to work well with others is essential.
This is a wonderful opportunity for entry- or mid-level engineers to grow with us!
Working under the direction of senior project managers, engineers complete the following tasks for specific projects:
• Storm water management design;
• Site design;
• Site utility design;
• Land development plan preparation;
• PennDOT/DEP permitting;
• Erosion and sediment control plan;
• Site grading;
• Preparing project proposals, contracts, and reports;
• Attend municipal and client meetings;
• Client and project management.Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering;
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Fundamentals of Engineering/E.I.T. certification (required) or an intention to pursue;
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to work as part of a team;
  • Ability to travel to other offices for training.
