Arora and Associates, PC is seeking qualified applicants for the following entry-level engineering position:Duties:
- Assists the Team Leader with all aspects of daily field work such as:
- Collecting and organizing bridge plans and reports for the bridge to be inspected
- Setting up inspection equipment
- Taking notes and photographs
- Coordinating traffic control
- Operating inspection access equipment
- Maintaining and driving inspection vehicles
- Works in a safe manner and obeys all safety regulations
- Prepares inspection reports, sketches and load rating calculations
Requirements:
- BS in Civil Engineering. Structural concentration preferred but not required.
- Able to work outdoors under all weather conditions, carry equipment, swim, climb structures and work in a bucket truck
- Good communication skills
- A valid driver's license
- Able to work overtime as required
- Willing and able to travel for out-of-town assignments
- Training with Microstation or AutoCAD is preferred but not required.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance is a plus
