If you’re interested in a rewarding career working for ENR's #1 ranked Program Management firm, then Jacobs is where you belong. Our Program Management group is seeking a Construction Project Manager to be part of our capital projects team for a large healthcare client in Bronx, NY.  Reporting to both the client and Senior Project Manager you’ll be working alongside other Project Managers and Superintendents on the Jacobs team, client staff/departments and vendors/contractors, regulatory, and general contractors.  As a client facing role, your emphasis will be on ensuring but, not limited to the following:


  • Responsible for overall project delivery (safety, cost, schedule, quality, information, contracts) on multiple project assignments.
  • Manages all budgets, schedules, scope development, and construction contracts, documents, procedures, and controls for assigned projects.
  • Manages the review and approval process for consultant invoices and contractor pay applications and change orders.
  • Attends weekly job progress meetings; issues meeting minutes.
  • Resolves complex construction related issues, disputes, and disagreements.
  • Excellent communication skills as this position is client facing
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Here's what you'll needBachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline, Construction Management, Architecture required, or equivalent qualifications and working experience in active hospitals and/or medical centers.5 years of experience as a Project Manager in an Construction, Architectural/Engineering, Hospital or Life Sciences Facilities requiredIdeally, You’ll Also Have:Strong working knowledge in active hospitals or medical centerCertified Healthcare Constructor and Infection Control (ASHE)Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect license/certification preferred but, not required*Sponsorship is not available for this position#EastPMCM #NorthPMCM Jacobs’ health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
