Primary ResponsibilitiesIn the role of Civil Coordinator, we'll count on you to provide project engineering/project delivery supports with a focus on transportation projects and public transportation clients throughout the Southern California Region. Anticipated work tasks may include:• Work on a team with other project engineers on the detailed design of urban and rural roadway projects. • Take responsibility for alignment and profile, geometrics, drainage, development of plans and construction estimates. • Provide assistance with the creation and submission of technical reports, specifications and calculations. • Assist the Senior Engineer with site studies, site designs, contract documentation preparation and graphic presentation• Perform overall site layout, grading, utility layout and drainage• Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures• Complete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables• Perform administrative duties associated with project management for civil/site projects• Work independently on small projects, or assist more-senior engineers on larger projects• Perform other duties as needed 

Qualifications

 Required Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering• Excellent oral and written communication skills• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must• Experience with MicroStation, InRoads, AutoCAD and Civil 3D preferredPreferred Qualifications• EIT certification strongly preferred or ability to obtain within 12 months. The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.) $67,000 - $87,000
