The challenge

  • As a DevOps Engineer, you support our cross-functional teams in developing high-quality software solutions for our specialist areas
  • In addition, you will be responsible for overseeing the build, staging, deployment and release processes
  • Together with our partners, you will ensure punctual and high-quality implementation of requirements
  • You will work on automating and improving the development and release processes of our IT systems
  • You will continually question and optimize our existing processes
  • You will identify, validate and integrate trends and technical innovations in the IT sector into projects

A background that convinces

  • You have completed a degree in computer science, business informatics or a comparable training/qualification
  • You have several years of professional experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar role in the area of ​​software development
  • You have very good analytical skills and an understanding of complex system environments
  • You have strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform in a cloud environment, ideally Microsoft Azure
  • Confident handling of databases, SQL and web services is a given for you; experience with Snowflake is an advantage
  • In addition, you were able to gain experience with the CI/CD concept as well as tools such as Docker, Github or Jenkins
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and its ecosystem is an advantage
  • You have strong communication skills and the ability to present complex information in an understandable way
  • Very good knowledge of German and English (B2) rounds off your profile
