Bridge Project Engineer (H-2023-02)Responsibilities:As leader of a design team:
- Supervise structural analyses, design and detailing of steel and concrete bridges.
- Direct the preparation of contract plans.
- Visit project sites that may be under construction to collect information.
- Write or assist in the writing of reports, specifications, and correspondence.
- Review and respond to contractor submittals such as working drawings and RFIs.
- Interact with clients and contractors.
- Assist with preparing proposals.
Requirements:
- BS in Civil Engineering with concentration in Structural Engineering.
- PE license in PA or ability to obtain PA PE within six months.
- Ability to guide junior personnel.
- Eight to ten years’ progressive experience in bridge design and rehabilitation.
- Thorough knowledge of PennDOT Policies and Procedures.
- Familiarity with PennDOT structural software.
- Familiarity with Microstation or AutoCAD.
