Responsibilities:As a member of an interdisciplinary team, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Develop various types of transportation plans.
- Prepare planning, traffic, and safety studies.
- Analyze transportation systems and various types of data and information.
- Interpret data from traffic modeling software and GIS.
- Perform alternative analyses.
- Prepare technical reports and documents.
- Evaluate transportation related reports, plans, policies, and procedures.
- Define transportation planning issues and priorities.
- Support proactive public and stakeholder engagement.
- Cooperate and coordinate with other team members and subconsultants.
- Meet project schedules and budgets.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science, or higher, degree in engineering, environmental science, urban planning, economics, geography, or related field from an accredited university.
- Proven ability to communicate technical and complex information, both verbally and written.
Ideally we would like to see:
- At least 5 years of experience in transportation planning or engineering field supporting transportation projects.
