Duties:
- Preparation of design calculations for roadway geometrics and drainage systems.
- Assist in the preparation of design reports and environmental permit documents.
- Preparation of contract documents including construction plans, E&S plans and quantity tabulation sheets.
- Develop trac control plans.
- Assist in the development of contract special provisions and cost estimates.
- Perform eld work to document condition assessments and existing conditions.
- Implementation of corporate Quality Assurance Plan.
- Provide shop drawing review and responses to contractor RFIs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited four-year program.
- 8-10 years of progressive experience with working knowledge of PennDOT and PA Turnpike standards.
- E.I.T. certication preferred.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Working knowledge of CADD software. Knowledge of MicroStation and InRoads a plus.
- Ability to work independently and within a design team
