We’re driven by the extraordinary as well as the seemingly mundane, working with our partners to make the world more connected and more sustainable for everyone.In the role of Senior Rail Civil Designer you will take advantage of new developments and improvements in technology to create capability and manage all aspects of the engineering design and drawing deliverable for your allocated responsibility. You will have the opportunity to work closely with project and design managers, project information managers and BIM coordinators, and inspire them to strive for innovation while maintaining outstanding digital design delivery. Coordination of Global Integrated Delivery teams will form a key part of your role. An objective will be to train and develop teams to become proficient in the relevant standards and digital design requirements to deliver projects for our Transport clients. #LI-DG1 #ANZTransportHere’s What You’ll Need:• Demonstrated understanding of the design process, co-ordination of work with other design disciplines and the efficient ownership and delivery of projects within budget, program and quality constraints• High level design (12D, Civil 3D or Open Rail) and CAD skills, with thorough knowledge of data transfer between key software packages• Experience in the management of Common Data Environments including ProjectWise• Decision making – identifies issues, problems and opportunities & chooses appropriate actionJacobs.
