About the JobWe are currently seeking an As-Needed, entry-level (1-5 years) field Biologist to join our Southern California biological resources team in conducting a variety of field surveys and assessments and to prepare biological reports and biological resource sections of environmental documents. We are particularly interested in someone who has experience with wildlife field surveys and related documentation experienceIn particular, experience with special-status birds including Swainson’s hawk, golden eagle, burrowing owl, and tri-colored blackbird, special-status mammals such as San Joaquin kit fox and various kangaroo rat species, and with special-status amphibians and reptiles including California red-legged frog and blunt-nosed leopard lizard are desirable. Project work can occur throughout central California, with periodic work in southern California or other locations. Overnight and out of region travel may be necessary.
