Job Description
General Summary
The Software Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining Windows-based desktop
software applications using Microsoft Visual Studio with C#, C/C++, and/or MFC.
Job Responsibilities
Design and develop custom software
Test and de-bug software
Field test software as necessary
Provide technical support to clients and firm
Document software and update/write user manuals for the use of the software
Provide software design and modification recommendations to management
Required Qualifications/Education
Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or Computer Engineering
Working knowledge in C/C++, C#, Java, DLL, COM, and DOT NET
Experience in software design and application development for Microsoft Windows environment
Working knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio for programming is preferred
Level of Supervision
Proactive interaction with the software department, related support departments and the ability to
work independently. This position reports directly to the President.
Earnings
This is a full-time, salaried position with annual bonus component
