Job Description

  We are EnSafe, an employee-owned, global environmental consulting and engineering firm. We strive to provide cutting-edge, creative solutions for our clients. We are seeking to add a Wastewater Engineer to our Nashville, Memphis or Dallas design practice. This role will be responsible for leading engineering teams in the design of wastewater projects including, regulatory permitting and compliance; system troubleshooting; and wastewater collection, conveyance and treatment.  You will lead technical teams working across multiple offices in problem solving, evaluating wastewater systems, developing treatment options, preparing plans and specifications, developing treatment system/plant O&M manuals, managing construction phase engineering services, and participating in various design and construction meetings with clients, subcontractors and regulators. Previous experience with industrial wastewater treatment across a variety of industries is strongly desired.  EnSafe is a sell/manage/do organization, so your duties will also include supporting marketing/sales efforts, project management, and client interaction. The qualifications required to help you succeed in this position include: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Master’s degree in pertinent discipline preferred)
  • A minimum of 15 years of water/wastewater design experience, preferably with several years as a professional-in-responsible-charge at an Engineering firm
  • PE and the ability to obtain a PE license in TN and other states
  • Previous experience with municipal wastewater is a plus
