Description:

Aspect Consulting, LLC, a specialty earth science and engineering consulting firm, is seeking a mid-level Licensed Hydrogeologist, Geologist, or Environmental Engineer with strong project and task management skills to join our Environmental Practice. The successful candidate will support project work for site investigation and remediation of contaminated properties. Specific responsibilities will include:

Manage small to mid-sized projects and parts of larger projects, including, but not limited to preparation of proposals, budgets, and schedules, and communication and coordination with clients and team members

Execute technical tasks for projects under the supervision of principals and associates, including data evaluation and report preparation

Assist in identifying technical issues with geologic and hydrogeologic site characterization and developing strategic problem-solving approaches to meet client needs

Design environmental and hydrogeologic field investigations to evaluate groundwater quality, groundwater-surface water interaction, contaminant nature and extent, aquifer properties, and chemical fate and transport

Implement soil, groundwater, and vapor intrusion investigations and manage oversight of drilling, borehole logging, well installation and development, and sampling and data collection activities

Develop and refine conceptual site models involving complex hydrogeology, geochemistry, and contaminant fate and transport

Manage and evaluate data for technical reports that include data visualization such as potentiometric surface maps, geologic and hydrogeologic cross-sections, and contaminant extent maps

Preferred Qualifications:

A Bachelor or Master of Science (Masters preferred) in hydrogeology or geology/geoscience/earth science

Licensed Hydrogeologist or Geologist in Washington state

Excellent organizational and project management skills

8+ years of local professional environmental consulting experience

Applied knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience managing projects and working with clients

Experience in completing environmental due diligence (Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments), Remedial Investigations, and Feasibility Studies

Valid driver’s license required and ability to travel, if necessary, for project work and collaboration
