Job Description

Job Description:

100% design - working with team doing land development design, grading plans, water mains, sanitary sewer networks, retention, hydrology and hydraulics, working with village engineers and other government agencies

Will be modeling storm sewer systems, performing earthwork calcs, and hydraulic calculations

Will be responsible for getting permit applications from municipalities and county officials

Project types include warehouse/distribution centers, school, office, retail, healthcare and recreation developments.

Work to be completed will include the design of pavement, water main, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, storm water management systems, roadways, grading/earthwork, erosion control and storm water pollution prevention plans

Work Environment:

Will be working in an office of about 35 people. This person will be working under Project Manager who is responsible for each individual project.

Qualifications:

The qualified candidate will possess a bachelor degree in civil engineering and possess the Engineer-in-Training (EIT) designation at a minimum.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, strong verbal communication skills, detail orientation and flexibility are a must. Experience with Civil 3D is a plus.

Minimum of 3 years of experience with commercial land development design

Must have experience with Design in AutoCAD

Experience with additional software programs is a plus: SITEOPS, Paydirt, Hydroflow, TR-20
