Seeking a Regulatory Compliance Specialist, with a primary focus in water permitting, to join our team in a growing multi-disciplinary company for our Wall or Cherry Hill, New Jersey office locations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
10 to 15 years of experience within the environmental industry.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental, or an equivalent field.
Desired focus in drinking water and wastewater permitting compliance services.
Capable of providing oversight of onsite drinking water and wastewater discharge permits. Experience managing compliance issues related to the Safe Drinking Water Regulations.
Experience with sampling, preparing and submitting monthly and quarterly monitoring reports for wastewater discharges in compliance with NJDEP and POTW regulations.
Understanding and experience in managing NJPDES permits, writing SPPPs, overseeing field sampling teams with a demonstrated history of maintaining long term permit compliance for multi-disciplinary clients.
Strong understanding of New Jersey specific water and wastewater compliance regulations preferred.
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently as well as with a diverse group of people, including non-technical staff
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products, including Excel and Access
Valid driver’s license
NJDEP Licensed Operator, Very Small Water System License (or equivalent)
40 hour OSHA HAZWOPER Training
