We analyzed the Civil, Environmental and Construction Industry data from CEECareers.com, and we are now able to show you the places with the highest demand for Transportation Engineering jobs in 2022.
There is great demand for transportation engineers in the U.S., as shown in the map below. In total, 452 transportation jobs were posted in CeeCareers.com for the US out of a total of 3,763 posted throughout the year. Transportation engineers are sought throughout the country, and especially the West and East Coast.
A state that was not present in any other CEE category of top 2022 job posts takes the crown in transportation engineering. Maryland, with 7.81% of total jobs posted, seems to have the most transportation career opportunities! Ohio and California share the second position with 7.50% each.
The next two positions are held by northern States: New York comes fourth with 6.88% and Washington fifth with 6.25% of the jobs posted during 2022. But for the following two positions we move to the south, since they are occupied by Texas, which concentrates the 5.94%, and Florida which has the 5.63% of the posts. Colorado (4.06%), Georgia (3.75%) and Missouri (3.44%) round out the top ten states with the most transportation engineering job posts.
